ASIANA AIRPORT, Inc was established at the same time as Asiana Airlines(AAR), Feb 17, 1988, to provide ground, cargo and fueling services. We opened Jeju, Gimhae and Gwangju branches one after another and then made the first step as a ground handling company by providing ground handling services to AAR on Dec 23 as the same year

With the growth in succession for years, we could supply services to Northwest Airlines which is the biggest foreign carrier putting on the Seoul line and improve our capability through the cooperation with KBAS handling chartered plains expertly. On Oct 4,1990, ASIANA AIRPORT acquired the license for fueling service and started the service next year. And it became the basis for the further development.

With the completion of Asiana Cargo Terminal and maintenance facility for equipment, we could have commenced cargo handling service in earnest since 1992. It was realized by obtaining ISO 9001/14001 certification to attain the goal to provide highly qualified service to customer and set up quality standard globally approved IN 1995. However we neither were satisfied nor stopped at this stage. We organized EQS team, initial of Environment/Quality/Safety, only to concentrate on these issues and could build the quality & environment management system successfully. Furthermore we were certified best company in safety & health at Busan and Jeju station from ministry of labor. And we could build total management system, Environment/Quality/Safety, by obtaining Safety Cert & OHSAS 18001 finally, on Feb. 2000.

With Incheon International Airport's opening, Mar. 2001, we expanded our business area to profitable jobs - warehouse, international carrier fueling service. Through a Ground Coordinator system since Aug. 2003 and so on, we would have high quality services to be satisfied our priority mission by protecting clients' safety.

In 2007 We reincorporated in Kumhoasiana Group and it inspired us to be a beautiful company and we were known for world class quality ground handler by obtaining IATA AHM 804 certificate.
We celebrated its 60th year in business and we won the gold prize and the bronze prize in National Quality Control Competition in 2008.

In 2009 we selected as one of the great companies in labor-management relationship. IATA awarded ASIANA AIRPORT Ground Services the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) certificate and ASIANA AIRPORT is registered on the ISAGO registry the first in Korea.

In 2011, ASIANA AIRPORT expanded our business by entering the aircraft maintenance business. On June 1st of 2011, ASIANA AIRPORT started the aircraft maintenance business in Gimhae International Airport first and then begun to provide line maintenances in Incheon International Airport in earnest in October, 2011.
ASIANA AIRPORT got certified Safety Maintenance System (SMS) Operating Certificate and Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) Certificate from Korean Ministry of Land, Transportation and Maritime Affairs for assuring the safe aircraft maintenance. In addition, we create a synergy effect, entering into Memorandum of Understanding with Asiana Airlines in 2011. ASIANA AIRPORT becomes the best partner in the aircraft maintenance market.
We are making another constant effort to realize our management doctrine as well as our vision, "Airport No. 1 Partner".
